| 1983 Rémi Arbour and Jacques Lelìèvre start up Gaspésie Diesel inc. 1985 Rémi Arbour acquires Jacques Lelièvre’s shares and becomes CEO and sole owner of Gaspésie Diesel inc. 1996 Gilles Babin is hired by Rémi Arbour and becomes the company’s Operations Manager. 1999 Gilles Babin acquires 49% of the shares in Gaspésie Diesel inc. 2006 Gilles Babin acquires the shares held by Rémi Arbour and becomes CEO and sole owner of Gaspésie Diesel inc. 2007 Gaspésie Diesel opens a construction division at Mont-Wright and sets up a fleet management program for vehicles in class 8 and under; the program includes parts inventory and maintenance schedule management, repairs, guarantees, operating costs, etc. 2007 Gaspésie Diesel earns an award recognising the prevention efforts that led to its level of excellence in workplace health and safety. |
